A few years ago you would have been right, but I'm not so sure now about your imagined outcome of an armed insurrection. I think we would find that the right wing has infiltrated the rank and file of our law enforcement and guard numbers to the extent that it may be questionable which side they would defend.

This piece from The Guardian popped up in Yahoo and it rings completely true in light of many recent events that found the law in opposition to the right wing ideology and the results of that. It suggests that the fascist takeover of our nation is already a pre-drawn conclusion and all but inevitable.
