America, as the primary contributor to global warming in the world, remains convinced that it can "vote" its way out of mass destruction. It cannot, regardless of how successfully its pseudo-democratic system has been propagandized.

Imagine finding over 250 representatives, 60 Senators, and a President that are both knowledgeable about the science and understand economics, and can be elected against the massive funding and media opposition they would find themselves up against. I'm afraid we are screwed. The Achilles heel of democracy turned out to be - - - democracy. Who knew?
