American politics have evolved into something more resembling the NFL than democracy. We may all have our favorite players and teams, but the money always flows to the billionaire owners sitting in their skyboxes. Bernie is upsetting that with demands of free admission tickets and lower hot dog and beer prices so more fans can be engaged. The owners will still own the teams and make money. They will just have to be more responsive to fans and the teams will have to earn their fan base with performance.
