Americans are being duped by a dog and pony show that is our political party system of governance. It isn't anything new, as it is baked into our founding documents that are anything but democratic. We will see the rest of the modern world pass us by as they concentrate on the welfare of their citizens without fear of buzzwords like "socialism" that most Americans can't even define.

The illiteracy of Americans in both government and economics will be responsible for our demise as a free and self governing nation. The myths and outright falsehoods believed by most Americans are simply too much headwind for honest and well meaning politicians to overcome, even if they can be found and manage to navigate our massively corrupt fascist political system to the national level.
