AOC, in particular, is better qualified to direct federal spending policy than Manchin. She is a trained economist and has proven her ability and willingness to be an attack dog representing her constituents when the situation warrants such. She also has some highly credentialed advisors at her side when needed to show the benefits of bills she endorses. Manchin only spreads outdated econ myths and fear mongering over federal spending unless it benefits one of his donors.
