As an econ junkie I can approve of this sentiment with all the gusto I can manage. When "coffers" is applied to our monetary system as a repository for tax payments held to be used to fund future payments by Congress one can be assured that anything following is either an intentional lie or a demonstration of ignorance. It is an antiquated concept that barely held true in the now-defunct gold standard but has shown its value as propaganda to promote acceptance of a grand lie among citizens.
