Biden was Obama's signal to the oligarchy that they had nothing to fear from him. Then the DNC actually nominated him and the horribleness of Trump got him elected by default. His cabinet appointments have been all neoliberals, most of them retreads from the Clinton administration.

If he doesn't pull some "real" benefits for the working class out of the next year Dems will likely fall farther back in Congress than they did in 2010. This will spell the end of our nation as most GOP clowns running next year will be Trump loyalists and they will make America pay for the imagined slight he endured by not being crowned King. It's going to get a whole lot worse before/if it gets better.
