Biden will never be the Democratic candidate for the Presidency. He was a place holder to keep Bernie from dominating the primaries until the DNC can slide in their last-minute replacement at the convention after Uncle Joe has his final meltdown. There is a lot of conjecture about who that might be, but I can predict it won’t be Biden who goes up against Trump in debates or has any hope of weathering the endless attack on both his ability and character.

Trump beat the entire gaggle of very experienced Republican politicians in the Republican primaries and then went on to defeat the most experienced Democrat who had the endorsement of a very popular President. Anyone who thinks Trump is destined to lose, or that Biden has any hope of winning such a contest is engaging in wishful thinking, not logic.

Trump beat Hillary the same way he will beat Biden, by citing their records (which Bernie failed miserably at and it cost him the nomination) and running to their left. He is already setting the stage for a repeat by framing a version of Medicare 4 All to pay for the massive cost of COVIT-19, knowing that Biden is on record promising to veto any such effort if he is elected. Is he lying? Perhaps, but he has a better record of keeping his promises than Obama had, and he’s not fully through his first term yet.
