This may be off-topic, but I'm having trouble with the math involved with the abortion issue. Given that 51% of the voting populace is female and assuming this poll is correct, who outside of some right-wing male politicians and pundits are left opposing abortion(??) and how do they control the narrative with so much public opinion countering them?
No politician can win an election by opposing the opinion of 51% of voters even if all men agreed with them. So why is abortion continually posed as a "woman's" issue? It is more than obvious, at least in predominately red states, that a majority of women oppose it by the simple numbers.
