Capitalism was born out of slavery and imperialistic genocide, so it can be expected to follow what always worked for it, however horribly it might fail the society. It can never let a true democracy with any informed opinion to have control, or it will not survive. This means that all knowledge that doesn’t support its propaganda must be suppressed and the population kept as ignorant as possible, mired in tribalism and economic myths.

This, of course, requires almost complete corruption of the government and the media to enable any truthtellers to be shouted down in a chorus of the corrupted.
