I can't remember reading a more shallow and incorrect assessment of taxation and its purpose. I don't understand why people find it so difficult to differentiate currency "users" from currency "issuers" when it is so obvious. The concept of a sovereign currency issuer "needing" funding from taxpayers is beyond laughable to anyone empowered with a critical thinking ability, and yet it continues to dominate any economic discussion.

You may contribute to providing material resources to your government, but that is totally separate from any taxation denominated in a currency. This is especially true when the government in question is the sole monopoly issuer of the currency without restraint from revenue. Tax "revenue" is an oxymoron for regular morons.
