I know this was intended to be satire, but you managed to suggest the right way to handle our current economic woes. However, this money printing shouldn't be aimed at the people who are thinking of property in the Hamptons, but the supply chain that has shown itself to be dangerously inadequate.

We should also target education for some additional funding so we wouldn't see mistakes like this in the future (Furthermore, if we print even more money, we can also pay off our national debt of $30 trillion without having to raise taxes or cut spending.) from anyone professing econ knowledge. One can only hope this was part of the satire intended.

The one thing that our federal government can excel at, creating and spending money into the economy, is also the one thing it is most often reluctant to do.
