I simply stated what is possible with a sovereign fiat currency, not what was happening. Until the policy makers realize they aren't revenue constrained and can "afford" anything that is available they will continue to govern and spend as if the gold standard was still a constraint. You can't fix stupid, especially if it teams up with political agendas and corruption.
