If we let the idiot politicians have total control they will allow people to die and suffer out of fear that the price of bread will go up a nickel. Inflation has been flat for years before the pandemic and yet any pressure to actually do something for the people is met with myths and misconceptions about inflation. It is the catch-all excuse to do nothing except collect campaign donations.

Every dollar Congress spends in deficit becomes someone's financial asset in the private sector, but most people simply can't make the connection, even when they are in desperate need of more assets. Not understanding economics at the macro level has made Americans the willing victims of the elite. Nothing that exists and is for sale denominated in US dollars is "unaffordable" and assuring every citizen a life of dignity will never be inflationary as long as the resources to do so are available.
