AOC is the only elected official I’m aware of that’s MMT savvy.

I’m pretty sure that Bernie’s long association with his econ advisor, Dr. Stephanie Kelton, would provide evidence of his MMT knowledge. One can hardly blame him for not making it the center point of his public econ policy given the general mistaken belief in taxation funding our government, but it’s more than obvious that MMT economists would have his ear.
