The typical government response for social issues is welfare — funded with deficit spending. Consequently, the people look to the government to solve their problems

In the end analysis, the government is the only entity that can solve their problems.

Deficit spending by the federal government is the “ONLY” net source of dollars the private sector has. As those dollars are leaked out from trade and wealth accumulation the available money supply dwindles and the misery of deflationary pressure on wages combined with inflationary pressure on prices can only be mitigated with private sector credit until all “real” wealth below the oligarchy is harvested and that private debt can no longer be “rolled over” into expanding GDP.

Congress has almost completely abdicated its responsibility to create the currency and manage the economy to private banking and the Fed’s monetary policy. What deficit spending it does is largely to benefit the oligarchy by maintaining necessary supply chains and a barely adequate infrastructure. This government couldn’t care less about the welfare of the people and is totally complicit in the neoliberal takeover of our nation that will justify any number of deaths to preserve “markets”.

If the people ever come to understand federal and global economics at the macro level they will revolt the next day and the heads of the oligarchs, along with their lapdog politicians, will adorn every lightpole in DC.
