Incrementalism never occurred to a Republican. It isn't in their DNA, but that might be why a party that openly opposes the best interest of the voters and flaunts their corruption will probably retake the house, and perhaps the Senate. One would be not crazy in thinking that perhaps the "job" of Dems in governing is to control progressive action or lose to Republicans. Or perhaps both?
