Is the impact of moving to a non-profit system of medical care among among them?

Somewhat around half of all medical billing is now paid by federal and state governments. If the job guarantee participants were allowed to enroll, and remain enrolled, in Medicare that number would quickly overwhelm any insurance based system and the natural move would be to simply go to single payer once the benefits of that overcame the right wing and neoliberal propaganda. The only thing more difficult that passing legislation benefitting the people is passing legislation taking benefits away from them once they have them.
