It’s important in making such statements to define what “capitalism” really is and is not. It is not the mom and pop businesses that are simply parts of the distribution chain. Economies considered to be “socialist” depend upon these businesses as much as any other but doesn’t see them as competitors to large conglomerate corporations, so legislates to protect them. It is capitalism, not socialism, that always uses unfair advantage gained from influencing government to destroy them, as they stand in the way of subjugating the people in fascism.
