Many people find themselves in dark places, but if they have the proper support and expert help they find their way back into the light. Our service members never get that support because their leaders think the dark is normal. It’s where they live, work and function. It is their job and they know they’ll never fit into the light of normalcy, so they stay in and move up in rank as they spread the darkness like a communicable disease.

Most of our political leaders are cowards who never were half as committed to their country as the kids they push through the grinder of perpetual war for profits. If we only allowed those who have served in wartime to vote for the wars we would likely see far fewer of them. War is never a victory for the military but is always a failure of politicians whose responsibilities include keeping the peace.
