Obama rolled over for McConnell when he could have appointed Garland with just a little effort. The GOP would have embarrassed themselves if they wanted to fight it out in the Senate and the court would be a bit more balanced. None of the partisan hacks appointed by Trump matched Garland's qualifications, but the Dems continued to play dead without posing any serious opposition. We were destined to have the fanatics in charge since Dems went neoliberal since the Clinton administration. At least the GOP is up front about their corruption.
