One one hand you criticize MMT as being completely false while stating that we have been actually PRACTICING MMT on the down low for 40 years. Which side of this discussion would you prefer? I can't let you claim both.

From the perspective of propaganda that serves the purpose of the oligarchy the task of educating people to the truth of MMT is quite daunting regardless of it being accepted "on the down low" by most of those in power. I'll give you that. It doesn't help that the average voter only relates to federal finance through a perspective of their own relationship with money.

However, I would prefer that our government tell the truth and not govern by "lowest common denominator" acceptance of its functions and duties. If all I can accomplish is to make it more difficult for the corrupt politicians to use voter ignorance against the people then I will have accomplished something of value.
