My favorite macroeconomist is a friend who served as an advisor to the US Senate and to the campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders for President. She has written numerous papers, but only recently authored a book, which went to the bestseller list immediately.

She is also a prolific creator of YouTube content of her lectures where a simple search of her name will provide considerable information and background. She was quite instrumental in my own enlightenment, as was Warren Mosler, a bond trader and the acknowledged founding authority of MMT.
