Since politicians at the federal level have no intention of telling anyone the truth of money creation, continuing to perpetuate the lie of debt and payfors, the Fed has been given a task it is not suited for. Its ability to shove and pull the economy with only interest rates as a tool is clumsy and reactive, at best.

This fits in nicely with the GOP's propaganda narrative of an inept federal government that must be reduced until it can be "drowned in a bathtub". That government is the same one that has the power to tax and regulate its donor in the corporate world, but I'm sure that has little to do with it, right?
