Something new and hopeful will spring from it, though it may be hard to see more than shoots and saplings now.

That “something” is the death of a criminally corrupt party that serves to maintain the steady drift into poverty for the American worker. I can only hope that death is rapid, but would certainly enjoy any pain it feels in the process.

Biden will, if he can even manage to be elected against the worst President in America’s history, likely emulate his mentor, President Obama. That will almost certainly include the complete abandonment of any progressive platform issue he ran on. Obama laid the ground for dishonest campaigning that Trump used so effectively to run to the left of Hillary and we can only now wait to see how badly Biden lied to voters to secure the support of progressives.
