The corporate media and all of Senator Sanders’ opponents have tagged him with the label of “radical”, which will be their undoing. Who can you think of that was more radical than our current President was in ‘16? He flat out lied his ass off, which we now know is his style, but that doesn’t change the fact that he beat Hillary by running to her left on every issue except immigration. The only viable candidate that was running farther left than Trump was Bernie, and polling consistently showed him better able to beat Trump than Hillary was because she had a horrible record that was entirely neoliberal and opposed to what the people wanted.

Americans are ready for a radical and largely mistrust both major parties to provide relief from their declining economic condition. They thought they found their radical champion in Trump, but that didn’t work out as planned. The hunger the people have for radical change in the status quo has not been satisfied since it was promised by Obama, so it is and will remain, the elephant in the room until they are given their just share of their labor.
