The Dayton shooter evidently had no political motive for his action, unless one considers he may have been pissed off his sister was dating a black guy. The large majority of such crazy people seem attracted to the anger of the right rather than any specific politics, but they do tend to lump together around racism. While there’s no shortage of racism in either party, the GOP is more vocal and transparent about it. This has never been more evident than it is with Trump who seems fixated on race.
