The Democrat seem tp be afraid of their own shadows.

These are not your father's Democrats. They are neoliberals who worship markets as the solution to all problems (including politicians not being wealthy enough). Their lack of push-back against the GOP is responsible for the move toward outright fascism in many Republicans and gave us Trump with their blessing.
