The entire Senate is a working monument to the anti-democratic nature of our federal government. What other country allows any representative, regardless of how sparse or populace the district they represent, to block legislation completely?
The reign of economic terror presided over by McConnel should be reason enough to either abolish the Senate outright or, at the least, incorporate it into the house if we feel the need to preserve the power of states against the will of the people. Complaining about the corruption of a couple of Democrats as if it were the crux of the problem is denial of our nation's history and the part slave states have played in it.
