The extent to which they are willing to push workers to return to work is only telling of the importance of those workers in our economy. If they had to actually bid for those workers the wage story would be considerably different, and yet that is exactly how they perceive the "free market" they so lovingly describe in their fantasies about our economic system.

There is more at risk for employers here than simply having to pay more for labor. They risk their house of cards that is propped up by wage slaves and the trillions of unearned income they steal from their employees. They have pushed the envelope since the '80s and now the pandemic is threatening to expose them for the entitled frauds they are.
