The media has been crippled into a forced neutrality since George Wallace successfully sued the LA Times for slander because it stated that he was mentally unfit to be President. The “offend no one thinking” is also just another sign of desperation among the news media resulting from the fact that the great majority of Americans don’t really give a sh*^ what happens in the news, especially in politics.

The NY Times is likely thinking of how many white supremacist readers it has that might be offended if it told the truth about Trump’s racism. The GOP would only casually rebut such a claim because it would be more recruitment than criticism to them. Here’s a news flash for them. If you’re not quoting Alex Jones or David Duke the GOP ain’t reading your stuff with any degree of agreement.
