The sooner progressive leaders in congress like Jayapal realize that Nancy Pelosi has no interest in seeing them succeed, the better.
This is quite true, but it doesn't reflect the whole problem progressives have. The larger problem with seeing progressive legislation enacted is the entire Democratic party leadership and most of its members who are much closer to Republicans in their approach to market based economics than they are to progressives.
The Democratic party runs interference for the GOP by condemning all progressive bills to an early death so the people never even get to see what they are missing unless they travel outside the US or have friends and relatives elsewhere who can inform them of just how backward their country is in this modern world.
