The title of this piece led me to think I was going to read another conspiracy theory involving the Fed. Thanks for not doing that.

The Fed is nothing more than the clearing bank for Treasury that sits within the private sector. The importance of sectors and sectoral balance is critical to how our economy functions, but in spite of being one of the simplest to understand it has spawned endless conspiracy thinking.
