During a recent stop on his book tour, Schultz told a crowd at a Barnes & Noble in Seattle that our $21 trillion debt is the greatest threat to our country.

This not only disqualified him from any consideration for “any” level of the federal government, but also makes him just another liar looking to gain from the general ignorance of the people. No one will ever convince me that anyone in the rarified air of the billionaire’s club doesn’t understand federal finance and Treasury bonds. Even if he intends to pay down the debt via higher taxation on the wealthy he cannot effectively manage the economy by denying economic reality, and I’m quite sure that higher taxes are not in his toolbox.

This is just a covert way for the GOP to primary their embarrassing President without having to give up the Nazi wing of their party. With the DNC and MSM acting as a firewall against any progressive actually becoming President they are probably more comfortable losing to a neoliberal Dem in 2020 than chancing a meltdown of their stable genius orange gibbon.
