To get the "free stuff' after all, you have to create enough wealth to generate enough tax revenue to pay for everything the government gives away. Without capitalism, you're Venezuela.

This is pure garbage econ and certainly shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone in a position to effect our economy. Sadly, because it bolsters the status quo and the people who benefit from that, it is likely to continue to be the dominate opinion in the econ ignorant society and danger to the world that America has become.

Using the nation's currency, which Congress has available in unlimited quantity regardless of revenue position, to enable the people to realize the guarantees afforded to them by our Constitution is the "PURPOSE" of our government, not socialism. The concept of taxation (or borrowing) as funding mechanisms for that government and denying its ability to provide for the public purpose independently of such funding is neoliberal propaganda and lazy economic thought that only resonates with the people because they don't have the intellectual curiosity to consider anything but their own narrow worldview.

America's government is now nothing but protectors of the oligarchs and their ability to blackmail the working class with destitution and death as the only alternative to total compliance. The jaw dropping incomprehensible ignorance of the people is made perfectly evident by the fact that the only parties advocating for overthrowing the entire den of thieves and starting over are those who wish "MORE" abuse from the ruling class, such as yourself.
