We must move past party politics if we are to have any hope of saving the ability of mankind to survive in a rapidly heating world. Manchin is allowed to vote his stock portfolio against the odds of mankind only because his party is just as corrupt and complicit as he is.

Manchin should be "invited" to leave the party, but that won't happen while neoliberals are running interference from that party for their wealthy donors. Anyone who doesn't believe that Biden, and most Dems, aren't relieved to let Manchin carry the ball for the donor class isn't aware of current political alignments and ideologies.
