We want a zero-exploitation, ecologically-sustainable, direct-democratic economy that delivers widest-spread well-being for all.

I think you will find that most of our economic problems stem directly from the ignorance that abounds among the voters in this democratic representational system. I hardly think that increasing the power of the electorate will solve them.

The Achilles heel of any democracy is - - democracy. This was pointed out quite well by Churchill who said "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with an average voter". None of us is as stupid as all of us.

That average voter in the US doesn't even have a clue what money is or where it comes from and would jump at the concept of "balanced" federal budgets in spite of the evidence proving that the only seven times we have even made headway toward such a goal resulted in almost immediate recession/depression.

I'll pass on direct democracy, thank you. I'm afraid the best chance of seeing your goals realized will be moving somewhere with much smarter voters than we have here.
