Your stories contain enough hooks to maintain interest for a much longer read. You should expand them a bit and forget about any story length target that now confines your writing. You release the tension much too easily when it could be sustained for longer with more detail. You might think about serial chapter type writing as you have the talent to keep anticipation peaked.
